Welcome to 4-H Youth Development
The 4-H Youth program provides educational experiences through a "learn by doing" approach and helps youth aquire knowledge, develop life skills, and form attitudes to enable them to become self-directed, productive, and contributing members of society. Through 4-H experiences and relationships, youth build better lives and become better stewards, employees, community citizens, and leaders.

Information about Lake County 4-H

Involves over 3,000 Lake County youth in organized clubs, overnight camp, special interest and school enrichment programs led by 150 Direct Volunteers and 1,200 Indirect Volunteers.

We offer over 200 different 4-H projects.

Our 4-H clubs are spread throughout the county and we can help you find one in your area!
