Peaceful Parenting Class

A three-part parenting class is offered by Ohio State University Extension. Learn strategies for everyday parenting dilemmas and difficulties. All ages and stages covered with an emphasis on participant's child(rens) ages 0-17.

Call the Extension office at 440-350-2582 for class dates and times. 

The cost of this 3 part parenting series is $30.00 per person with pre-registration at least one week before the class starting date. There is a $35.00 charge at the door, if space permits. 

A certificate for 7 hours of parenting will be presented at the end of the last class. No child care is available. This series is offered in Lake County every other month.

Presentations will be held in the 4-H Building, Lake County Fairgrounds, on scheduled Saturdays at 10 a.m. These FREE programs are provided by Lake County Master Gardener Volunteers.

Our Extension office is grateful for the continued financial support of the Lake County Commissioners. Budget cuts have impacted every department in the county, including our own. Northeast Ohio Small Farmer College
The OSU Extension Offices in Northeast Ohio are pleased to be conducting the Northeast Ohio Small Farmer College for new and aspiring farms. The college will be held on Monday evenings October 6, 13, 20 & 27 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. This college is designed to help landowners increase their profits from their small acreage. This college is open to all new or aspiring farmers, new rural landowners, small farmers, and farm families looking for new ideas. The small farmer college is split into 4 sessions designed to challenge participants to plan for success.
