The Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) program provides education and programming in all areas of family life to enhance, educate, and manage the many aspects to maintaining healthy living. Areas can include but are not limited to all parenting issues and education, child development and childcare issues, senior citizen and understanding elderly concerns, food management and nutrition issues, money management and budgeting issues, stress management, activities for pre-school and school age children, and education seminars for professionals working with family issues. If you have a need for an education program that is family and consumer sciences related, please call and we will try to address your need.

BUDGETING CLASSES

Ohio State University Extension Office offers "Thrifty Spending" Budgeting classes.  What you will learn? The concept and benefits of budgeting, how to use budgeting tools, effective spending leak plugs and healthy ways to communicate with your co-spender.

There is no fee for this class.  Next class will be on Monday, May 18th at 5:30 p.m.  Classes to be held at the Ohio State University Extension Office located at 99 East Erie Street, Painesville.  Contact Debbie at 440-350-2851 to register.
