    Learn all about the OSU Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Program and how to become one.  The Lake County Master Gardener Volunteers are partnering with the Mentor Public Library for this series of nine Saturday sessions.     Video from Mentor Library. Storm water normally flows through drains and pipes into local streams, rivers, and lakes. Along the way this water is warmed by hot pavement, and it is polluted by minerals, trash, and bacteria on our streets. Rain gardens protect our waterways by filtering storm water and allowing it to soak into the ground. This presentation will introduce the basic concepts of Rain Garden design and construction.

    Handout from Mentor Library program From easy propagation to some great projects this class will demonstrate how to use this great little versatile plant. We will show you how to make a living wreath that you can hang or display on a table and a fall gourd embellished with succulents.
